Sip, Don't Gulp on DEVIL WATER comic book.

"Devil Water" is a new comic book by Steven Barr & Tielman Cheaney. I was going to do the lettering but I've gotten swamped with work so thankfully Angel Sainz has stepped up to the plate. He did this as a lark with Dawid and Sarah's Gene Gardens poster.

So what am I doing on "Devil Water"? Just publishing it, but sometimes it's just fine standing near a great work. "Devil Water" is a wonderful book and years of craftmanship shows here. Steven Barr co-wrote the film Plant Life with Joellyn Anderson, currently in development with Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott, writer/producers whose credits include Shrek, The Mask of Zorro, and The Pirates of the Caribbean. He has also written and directed "Violet's Home" and other award winning short films. Tielman Cheaney is a trained fine artist currently in Las Vegas, and my guess is that he's not moonlighting as a showgirl. Sorry guys.






Here are some unlettered pages I've gotten to show off this new series. A horror/western, the script is amazing. The art is equally fantastic (I do take full credit for putting these two talents together. Is that worth some biggie fries?) I think people are going to be blown away by "Devil Water".
